Photo from the pier

Recently I went on a short trip to a town called Luss with my wife. The weather was fantastic considering the time of year and was a great opportunity to take some pics with the X100VI! I took over 100 pictures that day and I’m going to share a few of them here now. I loved the way the water and the sky looks in the picture, to me it almost looks like something out of a dream or in a way makes me feel nostalgic.

This first picture is of one of the many cottages that line the streets in Luss. The town is filled with picturesque buildings that feel out of a story book. Each one was unique as you walked past and I loved to see the plants that each person cared for outside of their cottage.

This next one is a bit of a contrast to the previous… and was one I found a bit funny to be honest. Walking along the river, my wife and I spotted what appeared to be a toilet lid in the water? So naturally I photographed it. The sun was reflecting right off the and like to think guides your eye down to the toilet seat. Lol

This photo is of a plane coming over the hills. But it also looks like a rocket, or a missile or a strange cloud? Whatever you might think it looks like, I thought it looked call and with the buildings hidden amongst the trees, I felt it made a nice picture.

The photo is my favourite of them all. I LOVE how the water looks and the large branch that comes out over it. The change in light on the water and how clear it looks alongside the moss on the branch just made this photo seem very aesthetically pleasing to my eye.

In this photo there is a bit of photoception going on… In this photo I captured the pier with the orange boats next to some kind of cabin/shed? But on the pier there was a group of people taking photos of each other enjoying the view, hence the photoception.

I’ve been loving taking my X100VI out with me each day and just taking random pictures. Most of these photos don’t make it off my SD card but the point in the camera for me is to be able to take a dedicated camera that is lightweight, compact and most importantly FUN to use. It’s definitely meeting that criteria for me so far. I still intend to write a longer dedicated post about my experience with the camera, however I want to spend some more time with it before that comes.

In the meantime, I’ll be continuing to post more photos on Noticed as I take them. As well as sharing them first on my Instagram. Hope you enjoyed the photos and thanks for checking them out!
